The start of the year is a slower time with some of the Power Diary development team taking leave, however, there were still multiple improvements and additions to the system. We have also been focused on recruiting and adding some great new talent to our team. Here’s a summary of the recent releases:
- Added: Improved the calendar view for those with one calendar only. Calendar layout improvements for larger businesses to follow soon.
- Added: The ability to add additional users who will have access to a client. This enables multiple practitioners to treat the same client and have access to their file. This is done by going to the client record, then to the Admin > Manage section and selecting the relevant user/s there
- Improved: Special character support (Chinese, Greek, etc.) for invoices and in some other areas in Power Diary.
- Added: A new merge field -{AppointmentLocationPostcode} – so that this can be included in letters, emails, etc.
- Added: The ability to see unread client messages for inactive suppliers.
- Improved: The ability to apply discounts to recurring appointments.
- Improved: Client sorting for group appointments.
- Improved: Word export formatting to preserve all styles.
- Improved: Aged Receivables Report so that amount owing is not shown when the Account Balance is $0.
- Improved: Stripe payment handling.
- Improved: Xero error handling.
- Improved: The display of clients in the Accounts Receivable report.
- Improved: In the new letter editor, allow inserting images at the cursor position rather than always adding them at to the top.
- Improved: In the new letter editor, fixed occasional failure to change font and font-size.
