Which plan should I choose?
Our plans are based on the number of practitioners you have – these are people that have appointments
with clients. Administration staff can be added as users, and you can have as many of these as you
like without any extra charges.
Example 1: Sarah runs a health practice with 10 people in total. She and 6 other practitioners actually see clients – so she has 7 practitioners. She also has 3 administration staff – 2 full-time and one part-time. She therefore chooses the “GROWTH” plan (which provides up to 9 practitioners). There is no charge for the administration staff. If she hires another 1 or 2 practitioners, there’ll be no extra charges as she’ll still be within
the 9 practitioner limit for this plan. If she hires another 3 practitioners, she’ll have 10 so will move up to the “MEDIUM” plan.
Example 2: Matthew is just starting his health practice. He is the only one that will see clients (although his partner might help with some administration). He is a sole practitioner, so he chooses the “JUST ME” plan. There is no extra charge if his partner needs a user account. While you are in your free trial, it doesn’t matter which plan you choose.
What fees might I be charged?
Subscription: Your subscription fee is based on your plan, and your plan is based on the number of practitioners active in your account. Eg. If you have 3 practitioners, you’ll need the “LIGHT” plan. The fees shown for this are the total weekly fees (not per practitioner).
Optional Add-Ons: SMS Sending: You’ll be charged for any text messages (SMS’s) you have used at the end of each monthly billing cycle. The SMS rate is shown above and this is based on the standard maximum SMS length of 160 characters. SMS messages that are longer than this can be sent but will be split into multiple messages for sending and then rejoined for the recipient (this is done by the telecommunications companies and is outside of our control). The SMS rate shown above is for each SMS of up to 160 characters. See more information about SMS charges here. All emails, including appointment reminders, are free.
Dedicated SMS Number (United States and Canada Only): Businesses in the US and Canada are required to have a dedicated SMS number to send SMS messages. See more information about Dedicated SMS Numbers here.
Billing: All fees (subscription and optional add-ons) are processed automatically each month and a receipt is available from within your account.
How is the billing done?
Billing is done on a monthly basis. We calculate the monthly price of your plan – i.e. your weekly
amount x 52 / 12 – and this is billed for the month ahead. Any SMS fees incurred for the previous
month are added to your bill.
Your billing won’t start until after your free trial time – even if you convert to a paid account
part-way through your trial time. For example…
Jane starts a free trial on the 10th of the month;
On the 12th, she decides she loves Power Diary and converts her trial to a paid account;
Based on the number of practitioners her practice has, her plan is €14 a week;
The monthly fee is: €14 x 52 / 12 =
Even though she starts on the 12th, she is not billed until the 24th – the date her trial
On the 24th, she is billed
The next month, she is billed €60.67
+ any SMS fees she used during the last month.
Am I locked into a contract?
Absolutely not! We don’t believe in locking people into contracts. You can increase, decrease
or close your account at anytime. In fact we even have a 100% Money Back Guarantee should you
decide Power Diary is not the right fit you anytime during your 12 months with us.

Are there any system requirements?
Power Diary is cloud based meaning that you don’t need to download or install any software.
Everything runs securely from your internet browser. You can access Power Diary from your

To access Power Diary you’ll require an internet connection and we recommend keeping your
internet browser updated for an optimal experience.
What is the difference between a Practitioner and a User?
A Practitioner is someone that has appointments with clients i.e. a Psychologist or
Physiotherapist. A User is someone who has access to your Power Diary account, but does not
have appointments i.e Receptionist, Book Keeper etc.
Can I get my data if I close my business or decide to leave Power
